Krabi Guest Houses and Bungalows

Most of the beachside accommodation in Krabi is upmarket, with the best selection of guesthouses packed into Krabi Town; a 20 minute drive from Ao Nang. However, there are budget options near the beach areas, including in Ao Nang and even at Railay.

Ao Nang is the main resort area but you can still find something for a few hundred baht a night here, though typically located away from the beach somewhat. You’ll still be near the action and have more chance finding something affordable here compared with Phuket.

Meeting horny local girls for free:
Most ‘bachelors’ visiting Thailand opt for the easy solution of visiting go-go and girlie bars, but there are also lots of regular girls who aren’t prostitutes that are keen on meeting foreigners for a fling. Hundreds of lonely and horny modern city girls go looking online for sex with visiting or resident Westerners; no strings attached. They aren’t expecting money or a boyfriend and haven’t been with scores of other men. The best place to meet these girls is on Adult Friend Finder, where there are more than 10,000 registered Thai female members.

Railay Bungalows

Separated by an isthmus, Railay East is cheaper than the prettier Railay West.

Note! All these places will book out in the high season. There are no budget options on the popular and space-limited Railay Beach, though you can walk between the two at low tide.

Phi Phi Island Bungalows

Phi Phi Don has recovered well since the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami. It is still possible to show up in the off season and find something cheap on this beautiful island, but be sure to book well in advance in high season. See the accommodation page on our complete Phi Phi island guide.
