Schools cancel holidays due to crisis

SCHOOLS in Singapore have cancelled planned trips to Krabi because of the ongoing political crisis.

Four schools scrapped plans to travel to Thailand during the Easter holidays because of fears over security, with Cambodia benefiting as an impromptu alternative destination.

And even more have decided to not to travel to the Kingdom for the forthcoming June break, with Krabi and Chiang Mai missing out most.

The ongoing political crisis which has claimed the lives of 23 and left more than 800 injured as seen more than 40 countries warn citizens against travel to Bangkok.
